Wildlife

Game viewing in the National Parks is the first reason for visiting Kenya. Another characteristic and pleasant opportunity to experience the wildlife is the Ballon Safari, especially at Masai Mara. This safari lasts for about half an hour.

Trekking

The first trekking destination in Kenya is Mt. Kenya. Other possibilities are: Ngong Hills close to Nairobi, the Cherangani Hills and Kerio Valley east of Kitale.

White water rafting

The best white water rafting in Kenya is along the Athi/Galana river with its rapids and waterfalls. The best period for rafting is from late October to mid January and from late April to July when the water level is at the top.

Sport Fishing

Sport fishing is exceptional in Kenya, especially on Lake Victoria and Turkana for fishing Nile perch, whereas around Mt. Kenya and Aberdares is possible to fish trouts. The coast offers deep-sea fishing attractions.

Cycling

Cycling trials are developing in many areas of Kenya. Particularly, mountain biking trips are frequent in the edge of Masai Mara, Hell's Gate National Park and the Central Highlands.
